Nora Nagarra

This country is Purnululu (The Bungle Bungles), located north of Turner River Station Country. Turner River is Nora’s family’s country. Nora was born at Turner River Station and worked on the station as a young girl. Nora uses a series of dots to portray the undulation and geography of the country. “This is all my country. This is where I grew up as a young girl and worked on a station. There are plenty of caves and good camping places all over this country.”
