William Jungala King

‘Earth Images’ depicts William’s combined knowledge of the physical terrain and the Dreamtime stories which relate to it. The series reflects William’s love of his native country. These Paintings show a riverbed, creeks and Aboriginal campsites. The Aboriginal people were nomadic. Their campsites were often temporary. Good campsites (with plenty of food and water) were often used periodically.
