The story:
Peter painted this piece when in residence in Hobart at Art Mob on the 2nd of December 2005. He shows the confluence of the 2 rivers close to where he was born – the Condomine & Balonne Minor Rivers. The footprints of the creation being – the Ancestral Emu Man – can be seen on one side. The red elements are the quandong fruit and the yellow elements are quandong seeds.
