The story:
An Eagle was watching a Joey on the ground, the eagle flew low to try to catch the joey, but over the sand dune there was a willy wagtail man, he had heard the swish swish sound of the eagles wings and he stopped, hid behind a tree. When the Eagle flew down for the joey the willy wagtail man threw his hitting stick at the eagles’ wing and saved the joey.
This painting was first exhibited in Cliff Reid’s debut solo exhibition “Way out bush” at Art Mob in November 2005.
