This painting was exhibited during Tasmanian Living Artists Week at Art Mob, Hobart, in the Behind Bars exhibition. It won the People’s Choice for best painting. Timothy’s description of this painting is: This painting is about four tribes from different parts of Tasmania coming together to have a corroboree. They bring hunting tools, music from each of the tribes and food from their areas. At the corroboree they exchange food and tools and most of all they marry into different tribes and initiate fortunate boys into hunters and men. Timothy adds: All of my paintings are not traditional Dreamtime stories. My paintings are my own interpretation. My Dreamtime stories were lost and never passed down. Some of my paintings do not have stories with them.
