The story:
William shows the travels of the Emu Ancestors through his mother’s country (the Pitjantjatjarra lands in the North of South Australia). During the Dreamtime period the ancestors performed ceremonies and other deeds in which features of the landscape were created. The track of the Emu Ancestors on their journey is represented by the lines and the dotting symbolises the landscape of this area.
