Wumali has painted some of her grandmother’s country called Yurrududu which is located south of Balgo near Kiwirrkurra. Wumali’s grandmother, Nungurrayi, used to live on the pamarr or hill depicted in the centre of the painting. Nungurrayi collected different bush food around the pamarr in her coolamon including pura (tomato), kanti (potato), kantyili (raisin) and seeds. Lots of people used to come and try and get food from Nungurrayi. One day she sent her dog to bite them and the dog killed all the people. The U shapes show the people sitting down together, the blue circles are soak waters and the long shapes at the top and bottom are claypans.
