The story:
Sarah has painted her grandmother’s country south of Balgo. This country is known as Kunawarritji (Well 33) along the Canning Stock Route in the Great Sandy Desert. The three circles represent three wells on the Stock Route while the other features of the painting depicts the tali (sandhills) that dominate this country.
