The story:
West of Yuendumu. Glenys has painted about the bush banana. This is a vine that grows in the Tanamai Desert region where her people, the Warlpiri people, live. The fleshy part of the fruit can be eaten. Women also use this fruit when unripe for certain medicinal purposes.
