The round symbols represent petroglyphs – the birth of new spirits, The main circle tells of the old men telling of stories and hunting for goanna and (‘kee’) kangaroo. The tracks show where they have walked for hunting and show where sacred water holes are through the land. It shows fire and camps where the Aboriginal men hunt and cook their food. This painting was done at Risdon Prison, Hobart in February 2005 by Tasmanian Aboriginal artist Rodney Allan Young.
