Audrey Martin Napanangka

Audrey has painted a typical Warlpiri women’s bush tucker painting showing 3 types of food sources – wild bush sweet potato (yarla), witchetty grubs and bush tomato. She shows the surrounding country in various colours depicting different bush and desert countryside. Her use of multi-coloured dotting gives a beautiful 3-dimensional aspect to her painting. She is one of just a few Warlpiri artists you use this technique.
