The mutton bird, or yolla to our Tasmanian Aboriginal people, is very much a staple food source. Harvesting these birds is a ritual still to this day and was an important part of Allan’s youth. This print was part of Allan’s 3rd year work while studying at the University of Tasmania for a Fine Arts degree.
