Cameron Ross Kemarre

Back in the Dreamtime, a long time ago, in Kaydidja Country, north of Alice Springs. My ancestor, a man of great power, knowledge and wisdom, such a beautiful quiet peaceful man. He lived on the outskirts of the Devil’s Marbles with his wife. They had no children at the time. One day while resting, the wind came from the south bringing a message from far away down South Australia. It was from a tribe far away, who needed my ancestor’s help.
For there was a great Mumoo, monster type person killing the people and eating them, and no one can stop it. So my ancestor told his wife, and they immediately left on foot for the long journey ahead. They stayed at many places along the way, including Emily Gap in Arrente Country, Finke, etc. All these places they stayed, became sacred, they tell the story of the journey.
When arriving in the place, the leaders of these tribes spoke to my ancestor explaining the situation. My ancestor left his wife, and went alone to face the monster in the hills.
They battled on and on, until finally my ancestor came out victorious, knocking the head of the monster off, sending his head all the way back to the Devil’s Marbles in the NT.
My ancestor is a superhero of the Dreamtime. He was given power from Ngarte the Creator to help other people of other tribes.
