Rissah says “A number of years ago at the market an elderly woman approached me and touched my art. She said she thought it was embroidered fabric. I said to her that yes it looks like beautiful material but it has rents and holes in it similar to a stolen generation person’s life. All the fabric of a stolen generation art peace’s are in respect for all the stolen generation people in my life.
