Wumali has painted country far to the south of Balgo named Yurudu. The painting tells the story of Tikali, an old lady who travelled from waterhole to waterhole (depicted as circles) with her son and her dogs. One day Tikali went out to collect bush food, which she carried in her coolamon. While she was gone two ‘feather’ men came and killed her son and hung him up in a tree. Tikali cried and sang a song for her son. The men soon returned and the old woman, who had been waiting for them, killed them both.
