“Nov 1983” Amberlindum station just east of Alice Springs. Horse tailing with a cousin, I came face to face, on a ledge, stood this majestic albino (white) kangaroo. For what seemed like an hour we both stared at each other. Later, I fully realized this was a kadatji man. So I took off. Too late, I ended up with boils in both kidneys. Doctors in Alice Springs hospital were baffled about it. It took a few weeks for me to get well. I will never stop thinking or painting this event in my life, a spiritual lesson.
