Alexandria has depicted some of her Grandmother’s country south of Balgo, along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. This country here is called Yirangarri after the prominent warniri (rockhole) depicted in the centre of this painting. This warniri is an inta or living water and always has a reliable source of water. The dottng depicts the abundance of mungari (bush tucker) in the country.
