Maudie has painted a bush tucker story about the wild bush carrot. The central circles depict camp sites and the wavy lines connecting them are the journeys of the Warlpiri women as they travel in their country near Mount Allan some 350km north west of Alice Springs. They are out looking for bush carrot and celebrating in ceremony their ancestral background. The coloured background depicts different types of country. Native grasses can also be seen as the grey/pink radial elements.
