This painting depicts part of the water Tjukurrpa (Dreaming), associated with Tjumpo’s traditional country. This country is located far to the south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert and centred around the vast salt lake named Wilkinkarra (Lake McKay). The central circles depict two tjurrnu (soakwater) and the connecting lines represent the underground water that feeds into these tjurrnu. Surrounding the tjurrnu and dominating the country are tali (sand hills).
This painting featured as the raffle prize for Warlayirti Artists once ever on site exhibition Balgo 4-04 in April 2004.
