Henry Wambini

Camel Creek, just to the north of Turkey Creek, in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia is Henry’s choice of subject, and he depicts the unique Butterfly Gorge area. In the wet season, the swollen creek, in grey, has to squeeze between the two large rocky outcrops, creating the butterfly effect, as the pent-up waters bank up on one side, and fan out again after making it through the gorge.
