Reef fishing on a good day is our lifestyle. While some families go out fishing, some stay back on the beach to make damper cooked in hot charcoals and bed of hot sand, and make fire to make tea and ready to cook them fresh catch of the day. While waiting on the beach, they chuck their hand fishing lines to catch more fish for big maiyee (meal). This painting shows a lovely day out on the reef along our east coast Country.
