For thousands of generations, different weather conditions with different types of rain have helped re-shaped the landscape on our Country from rainforest, to ranges, down river to creeks, down to our camping grounds, feasting grounds, dancing grounds, bora which is restricted ground and ceremonial grounds.
My grandparents and my mum said they depended on the morning rain and birds singing and chirping like a choir as natural alarms to wake them up for a new day. The morning rain is a sign welcoming a brand new day. Our life must continue in many ways just as our great ancestors did every day to make it possible for us to welcome the morning rain and brand new day today.
