The story:
This is an old Tasmanian Aboriginal shell necklace. Art Mob bought it from Christo Lees, a Tasmanian Aboriginal who in turn bought it, along with a number of other necklaces, at Gowans Auction in Moonah. These necklaces were from an estate and it can be assumed that this necklace may date back many years.
