Irene Namok

I am proud of my Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island background. My grandparents had it tough when they were growing
up they never gave up. They also never walked away from their cultural and traditional heritage. They passed their
knowledge, wisdom and secrets to some of us so we can carry on with our life today. These are the best days with my
families on our traditional land.
