Our generation today didn’t have to do it tough like our great great ancestors and great great grandparents. The older
generation were pioneers of our land and they had to walk, discover, mark and settle on our native land, now we call home.
They turned the unknown territory into a known territory and that’s how we became who we are, Aboriginal Australians from Lockhart River. They already settled in other areas of our native but season weather conditions, finding food and water caused them to move around within our native territory to finally find the best place to live and continue to raise new generation.
Once an unknown territory now a marked and identified territory.
