The Kungka Kutjara started to walk from (Kaltiji) Fregon in South Australia. They came upon a large creek which they crossed and stopped at a soakage called Alkala. Then they continued walking towards a big puli (hill) where close to it were growing large ili (fig trees). The big puli is close to Kelvin Well. When the kungkas reached the puli the elder sister Inukata, cut some bushes and made a wanna (digging stick). The place is called Wanna’antal. Not far is another soakage (kapi) called Tjintjirra where the Two Sisters stopped for a while. After sometime they started walking towards another big puli (hill) which is near a very important place called Irawa. William is connected to the Two Women story because he was born at one of the sacred sites. He considers the story as very important to him personally and lately is focusing on it in his paintings.
