When we go out out camping on our traditional land our old people give us different responsibilities. They tell some of us to go fishing, others to go collect firewood, others to go collect ripe mangoes and wild sweet-sour berries and some to make our camping place for sleep time. Growing up in my childhood, we kids were sometimes very cheeky. Like we run away to do our own thing. When its day time we go out far but return before dark to the camp. While them old girls prepare damper and cook fish on the fire, we all sit around the camp fire and tell stories. This is how we gather around the camp fire. Camp fire gathering under the night stars.
