In Tiwi culture it is known that Tiwi hairy people live deep in the Tiwi bush. They do not interact with modern society. Ningarka is the female Tiwi hairy person and Ningani the male. Legend says that you must be careful when venturing out into the wilderness as it has been known that the Ningawi may take you away with them in to the bush. This is a multiple etching with screenprint, made by the artist in collaboration with Masterprinter Basil Hall at Jilamara in April 2017.
