Greg Matthews

My painting features the following beautiful Australian birds: Top left – Rosella, Top Right – Sea Eagle, Bottom left – Kookaburra, Bottom Right – Orange Bellied Parrot, Top Centre – Swift parrot, Bottom Centre – Yellow Wattle Bird. The birds are surrounded by my arrangement of contrasting coloured dots that form different shapes and patterns. Some dots represent the branches on which the bird sits, others represent leaves and the background, while the blue/white under colour represents the sky.
