Yaritji Connelly

This work was produced during an Ildiko Kovacs residency at Ninuku Arts, Kalka in 2010. The consequential works were exhibited at RAFT Art Space. The show was entitled A Shared Language of Paint which ran June 17 until July 9 2011. This show is about a shared passion that is paint. The artists involved have all experimented with new ways of making marks using a range of different tools and materials. The artists have found common ground and a way of expressing themselves through the universal language of paint.
