The story:
The reason I called this painting Awu is because there’s a restaurant called AWU – a chinese – had a great time & eat in. I would like to thank Euan and his team once again. Great hospitality. Awu is also a word in the local Aboriginal language of Lockhart River that means good spirit or ghost.
