This is a popular dreamtime story of seven ladies being chased through the desert by one man. There are numerous scenarios as these ladies travel around. Eventually they rise up into the sky and form the Pleiades, a group of seven stars seen in the southern skies. There are many variations of this story. The Seven Sisters, they were frightened and running towards the Kuru ala. Before Kuru ala they ran and were looking through this hill (break away country) where the man broke through the rock. They were trapped so kept running. After one of the sisters saw there was a hole through the rock so they all went through to the other side. They got away to Kuru ala. The seven sisters are running through the centre with hill on both side. The circle in the middle is the rock hole. The yellow symbols on the outside represent young girls turning into a woman. You can see this same pattern on a cave at this same place, Kuru ala. The white clay when its old and falls down makes this same pattern.
