This painting depicts designs associated with the soakage water site of Karriti, south-west of the Kiwirrkura Community. The ‘U’ shapes represent the women who were camped at the site gathering edible fruit known as pura or bush tomato from the small shrub Solanum. The women later travelled east to Marrapinti, Ngaminya and Wirrulnga.
