This painting shows the big hills close to Turner River Station, south of Purnululu. This is where Nora worked and grew up. Not far from the station is a series of watering holes, featured in the bottom third of the painting. Nora says, "I used to go here with my grandmother. We didn't go to school, just worked on the station. We used to go hunting and take all the dogs and catch kangaroo (Jeering) and goanna (kanyarrany)".
