Urrabau bei-iew ngu iaggami - is a term in our Western Torres Strait language for when someone is inspired using the word Iaggami. On this particular work I've created is a branch of a coconut palm that has been torn in half from its stem. I have added these motifs of different local creatures just as a decoration and creating a new form of design in relation to our spiritual and connection to our island life.
