Biography
Rene began painting around 1987 at Yuendumu where she was involved with the Warlukurlangu Arts Centre. When she moved to Alice Springs, Rene became a founding member, establishing Jukurrpa as an artists cooperative and as a serious painting enterprise. Her paintings depict Yuparli (Bush Banana), Honey Ant, Ngalyipi (Climbing Vine), Water Snake, Bush Mango and Possum dreamings.
