Marie’s Dreaming is women dreaming. She was born on Kalpa Station and lived at Finke river station as a young girl. She later moved to Maryvale Station and lived in the old village. She now resides at Titjikala Community which was registered in 1978. Titjikala Community obtained freehold title to the excision in 1987. The people of Titjikala belong to the Arrente, Luritja and Pitjanjatjarra groups and many are ex-workers or families of workers of Maryvale Station. Marie has worked at wood carving and batik and started painting in 2002. She usually spends her time looking for bush tucker and carving punnu from the roots of the mulga trees.
