Julie was born in Cullen bay on the mainland South of Grove. She sat as a young girl watching and learning her father’s traditional painting skills and to stories from her country. Today Julie carves, paints on canvas, bark, hollow logs and didgeridoo’s, transferring the knowledge of her family in to her art work that you see today.
