Biography
Job was born on Saibai Island in the Torres Strait. When he was 16 he moved to Badu Island and lived there since. He was a skilled wood carver, producing carvings of dugongs, turtles and pearl luggers.
He used baidam tulu wood for carvings. This is commonly known as shark tree wood.
He passed away on November 9 2024.
