Jacqueline is the daughter of the late Makinti Napanangka. Her paintings are very reminiscent of Makinti’s work and depict similar imagery associated with the rockhole of Lupul, also known as Lupulnga, south of Kintore in Central Australia.
The linear components show sandhills but also refer to hairstring, human hair spun by the women, for belts or skirts that are worn by Pintupi Aboriginal women during their ceremonies.
