Isobel Major Nampitjinpa

Isobel Major was born in Alice Springs Hospital. She is the daughter of Punata Stockman Nungurrayi and her husband Peter Major Jangala, and the granddaughter of Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri. Isobel paints the dreaming stories of her father. Sometimes she likes to paint about her grandmother’s dreaming from west Kintore and east of Kwirrkurra. Isobel’s father’s dreaming is from north of Kintore.
