This place is the place for Dingo Dreaming. You can find dingo all over this country. Beerbee’s uncle’s country. The rounded hill on the right hand side of the painting is near Collins Creek. The dark soil in the fore ground is black soil country, you find this soil all over the Waterloo Station area. This is not good country to travel in when it is wet because it is deep loamy soil and it gets very boggy. Beerbee says that in this country they used to collect the “wax” from the root of the spinifex and burn it up in the fire until it was black. This gum would then be used to attach the heads to the shafts of spears. Waterloo Station is located to the left of the painting. In this country you can see lots of small rounded hills. The name of the central pointy hill is Munmarie.
